Freightech Inc is a transportation company, located in Romeoville, IL and we are currently looking for energetic, organized individual who will become a part of our safety team.
It will help us to ensure company’s motor carrier fleet is operated and maintained in a safe manner and in accordance with federal, state and local regulations. Supports the Logistics business unit in its goal of continuous safety performance improvement and regulatory compliance.


Maintain knowledge of federal, state and local laws and regulations and ensure company compliance of same
Ensure compliance with the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) and US Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations regarding Hours of Service
Maintain a working relationship with the ELD-provider’s personnel to stay current with new initiatives, work through ongoing system issues, and implement change
Аssist drivers in troubleshooting ELD-related malfunctions
Responsible for driver training and skill assessment to include on-boarding training and orientation, remedial training, and maintaining compliance with DOT and FMCSA regulations.


Proficient in writing and maintaining regulatory programs, standards, and procedures.
Strong understanding of Occupations Safety and Health regulations
Proficient in MS Office applications, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook is required.
Demonstrated ability to analyze regulations and identify and succinctly communicate applicable requirement is required.
Ability to effectively communicate in interactions with regulatory agencies, Operations staff, and Management is required.

Monday to Friday
No nights
No weekends

Experience: at least 1year experience in the safety field
